Can't renew Premier Pass at So Cal AP level?

I foolishly assumed that I would be able to renew my Premier pass at the SoCal AP level this year, but I just called and the CM said I can't. HUCA? My partner and kid have SoCal APs, and we almost exclusively visit on Sundays, since my kid is in school. It looks like my only option is to get a Deluxe pass or pay each time I visit.

Maybe you should keep premier so you don’t pay for parking.

I'd try for a different CM.

My sister's pass had lapsed, but her husband and two kids have SoCal passes (and she has in the past), so they actually issued her a "new" one so she could match her family.

Last time they stopped selling SoCal, you could renew ANY level pass into a SoCal.

But seriously, I'd try again until you get a CM who will get you one to match your family.
