what the deal is with taking bags into the park... do they check through them? i know you're not supposed to take food in... and they have those lockers by the enterance... but.. yeah.... help me out guys! is it really NO food at all, and they check your bags? or would we get away with taking a few snacks in? or is it just easier to buy stuff in there?

la la la...

They were checking all our bags in August. We didn't take any food in, only bottles of water, but for the amount of people who were taking doggy bags away at breakfast time, I would say some people must have tried it. Don't know how strict they will be if they do find food in your bag There's lots of places to buy snacks inside the parks.

You could probably get away with taking a few small snacks in, but I'm not sure about a whole picnic!!!

BTW I don't think you can use the lockers at the entrance any more.

They are checking your bags for security more than anything else.
Although we have never taken anything in there were a number of people who had clearly raided the breakfast of rolls, croissants and cheese and had these for lunch

We always take in a few snacks, chocolate bars, crisps, sandwiches. They now check every bag that goes through the gates, but they are only looking for weapons etc.

I don't nknow about taking food into the parks because i've never done that before.

On my last trip to Disneyland in June, they checked our bags when we went into Disney Village but not Disneyland

I've always taken food in the Parks and never had any problems, even what I had raided the breakfast!!!

Never taken a full picnic, but had a bag full of rolls, crisps, snacks etc.

I believe when the Park first opened they were very strict on food and drink going in, but I've been going since 2001 with no problems.
