Can't register on DVCWelcomeHome.com - any ideas?

I'm excited, new DVC member - just got my activation email and called my Guide to get my Membership #. He gave me a 12 digit number and I confirmed it was correct - but when I try to register on the website, it says Club ID # is invalid.

Anyone have any ideas if I'm doing something wrong? I tried Firefox, Chrome, Brave, Safari, Internet Explorer and Edge browsers - so I don't think it is a web browser issue. I have quadruple checked (and more than that probably) the membership # and activation #.

I think there may be something wrong with the websites's pre-validation - when I type in the membership # but before I hit continue it says it is an invalid Club ID #, but not sure how to get around this (tried disabling JavaScript which disables the browser validation, but then it won't let me proceed past clicking "Yes" that I am a DVC Member).

I called my Guide who said he is contacting someone - but wanted to see if there was a known workaround for this.

Club ID is different than Membership ID. Call Member Services and request your Club ID and activation code.
 
Club ID is in the format: #######.seq

Each person listed on the membership (owners & associate members) is assigned a Club ID each with a unique sequence number (starting with 1).

When you call, select the option off the phone menu for assistance with the member website & MDE.
