I often run across things on this board, and others, that people say are not to be missed (food and beverage). One thing that stands out is a desert at the Japan pavillion, but I can't remeber it's name. What are some other don't miss items at WDW.

To start one of my favorites are the Macho Nachos at ESPN. The cheese they use is heaven!

I'd love to hear some others so I can try em all on my next trip

Thanks-
Donna

A sundae at Ghiradelli's in DTD.

For some strange reason I have that Hammer song playing in the back of my head...

I think what you are thinking of is called Kaki Gori. I have never had one but I would like to try it in the future and see if it as good as people make it out to be.

Two of the other big mentions are Beaver Tails in Canada and Dole Whips in the MK. I have had both and while they were both quite good I wouldn't classify them as can't miss for me.

However, I really, really, really like those layered magaritas from the cart in the Mexico pavilion. :) They are very tasty!

The grapefruit cake from Brown Derby is also excellent. We will not be eating there on our next trip but I have heard that the bakery next door can get you a piece. :)

Of course we also have to have a Mickey bar. :)

Homemade ice cream sandwiches at the Main Street Bakery... YUM!!! Oh yeah... and the beignet... double YUM!!!!

However, I really, really, really like those layered magaritas from the cart in the Mexico pavilion. They are very tasty!
And very strong... I had to just about carry DH around the worlds after one of those and he is a big man to carry!!!

my can't misses are:

1. the dole whips in mk
2. the cinnamon rolls from the bakery at POR, yum (got one every morning while we were there, a morning tradition).
3. chocolate from the confectionary store at either mk or dtd.

4. and, my number 1, 5-star favorite:
The Triple Chocolate Moose Stampede Cake from Whispering Canyon. I think it is delicious. very rich, wonderful mousse filled chocolate kaluha cake frosted with fudge icing! Can't go a trip without having some. :D

enjoy!

The cheesecake at Disney Quest. My mouth waters just thinking about it.:D

Great post! These are all making me hungry!!!!

Ive been wondering about the cheese here for a while. Do you know if they use the real melted shredded cheese or if its the processed cheese sauce? I had thought I read once it was the sauce, but I cant imagine a bar/restuarant using that.
