Cant make ressies yet?

I still find it odd, that I can't make a ressie yet for the 1st week of Jan. 2013 and it is less than 6 mnths away..... Is this normal?

Usually new rates come out in August, but the 2013 package rates are scheduled to come out this Wednesday, 7/11 .

Thanks!, It just seems crazy, that you are advised to make dining and or resort ressies at least 6 mnths in advance, and the WWD website does not let you do it 5 + months out. Just thinking....

You CAN make dining ADR's without a resort package plan. IF there are restaurants that you want to eat at, go ahead and make your ADR

Yes it is odd that they accept dining ressies and have park hours posted, but not resorts. They always know something we don't. Just keep checking, it will open up soon.

You can book a room-only reservation 500 days in advance even if the packages and rates aren't available, but it has to be done by phone. Your reservation and deposit will be based on the highest rack rates for the current year and then adjusted once actual rates for the dates are released.

As a PP has noted, however, the Disney site has been displaying a notice that 2013 packages and rates will be available starting this Wednesday.
