Can't log into Chase!

We've had a production server crash before so I feel their pain. In our case our disaster recovery plan didn't go as well as it did during testing because, unfortunately, testing and needing it to take over an actual production load aren't the same. We weren't down a whole day but longer then we would have liked.

I feel sorry for their I.T. department, I know what it was like and it is not fun.

Last time DH's team did a disaster recovery exercise, the disaster part went great, the recovery...not so much! They ran it on Sat and environments were down until well into Mon. DH is a tester so he wasn't on that particular assignment but boy was it a mess.

Still down. I wanted to pay off my credit card before vacation tomorrow.

I have a credit card due tomorrow. At least I know it isn't just me.

The article says:

Chase... is urging customers to conduct their transactions at a branch or by phone, at 800-935-9935. Its ATMs are operating normally as well. The bank does not charge its customers fees for transactions at a teller station, by phone or at an ATM, Kelly said.

So if you can, call or go to a branch!

I was trying to check my account online just about 24 hours ago and it was down then. Very annoying. As they said at the end of that article, it's part of my day to day process!

I was able to log in this morning - but payments I scheduled over the weekend did not happen.

I am trying to log on now and I cannot...:confused3

***officially down again***

Me too. Just keeps trying to load.

Got a call from Chase this morning saying that they intercepted a $4,900 charge on our account from Great Britain.:scared1: So glad they caught it but now I am wondering if some accounts have been breached.:confused3 Could be a coincidence but it makes me wonder. That really freaked me out.

Lovely. :scared1:

I just got in but it took a while to load.

ETA: Nevermind. I was able to enter my username and password, get to the additional verification page, receive the text message, enter the code, but at that point it just kicked me back to the login page and now it won't load.

Yup...still down. You would think they would post an alert on their home page. If I didn't get the alert on the DIS I wouldn't have known.

Crap...I can't get it to go past the first page. I have no clue which payments I need to re-send before they are late!

ETA: just had to try again and again. WHEW!

Still can't log on. I just get a page that says

" We're unable to complete your request. Please reenter your User ID and Password or click "Forgot your User ID/Password?". You also may want to make sure your computer's Date and Time setting is correct. "

I have never been redirected to a page that looks like this before today, so I'm not willing to enter my information, especially with someone saying their account has been hacked into.

I hope this doesn't screw up my direct deposits that are suppose to go through tomorrow.

I get the same message -- glad it's not just me. I do get this page pretty regularly if I mistype my password.

I still get the message that the site is temporarily unavailable.

But...isn't the message of Site Outage an alert?

It's been up all morning (pacific time here) for me, even now.

For those still having problems...perhaps clear cookies and cache? Possible your computer is still trying to load it from yesterday (to put it in the layman's terms that make sense to me, LOL).

No -- I had it up earlier today and made three pretty large transfers to pay off CCs. Printed statements, checked balances.

Now I can't login and it hangs up, keeps saying there's an error.

ETA: Tried to change my password to see if that would work -- takes me through the steps and just at the point I would enter my new password, it loops me back to the main login screen. Sigh.

Still didn't work for me after clearing everything :confused3 I'm getting the "We're unable to complete your request. Please reenter your User ID and Password or click "Forgot your User ID/Password?". You also may want to make sure your computer's Date and Time setting is correct"
