Can't log in

There is a very easy way to get around this issue if you are using your phone:

In the upper left hand margin you will see an icon with three vertical lines. Click on that icon.

A menu list of options will appear, such as "Explore Membership" and "Plan Vacations." Click on any of them.

Once you click on one of the items, you will be prompted for your sign-in name and password. Once entered, you are in the member site.
 
By the way, if this issue occurs while using a computer, it can be remedied just as easily. Just click on one of the tab items that appear across the top of the screen. The system will then prompt for your user name and password.
 

It really baffles me that DVC is the only website that I ever have issues like this. Strange how form takes precedence over function for Disney in this instance.

I was just on the availably tool, no problem but when I tried MY vacations or something else it starts blinking that site is not available. It just keeps flashing ( very annoying ) So I go back and try to bring up site again with no problem and I'm still signed in, worked the avail tool again but as soon as I try MY VACATIONS OR whatever it starts blinking again that it's not available. WHAT A CRAPPY SITE.
 
Sigh... WDW has no Business Website. They HAVE a Business Web Site when it behaves like Amazon.com....

No excuses.
No "try another browser".
No "clear cookies".
No "come back later" (what? This is Reno? NO- not feeding the slot machine).

This issue is a Major Management problem. WDW CHOOSES to have an underfunded, non operational Web Presence. Best solution? FIRE Non performing "Web" providers.... go to Amazon Web Services. Really - there is no need for this running joke, beyond money, and will. Get serious, or just go back to telephones.

We all wish the website worked as well as Amazon. NO QUESTION ABOUT THAT & I doubt there is anyone who disagrees.

That said, sometimes I'd just rather be effective (and get what I want) than be right (and not get it).

IMO, all the suggestions help someone get what they want RIGHT NOW and I am glad posters have been sharing what is working for them. When I'm trying to get something online, I want it RIGHT NOW and I am happy to try a "work around" if it might help.

I was having that the night before but just refreshed and it came up. Then I'd go elsewhere and back and had to do that again.

I think I'm going to have to call. I had a problem a while ago when I added my DL AP and apparently ended up with two log-ins. Went to check on my Aulani reservation and when I log in it asks for my membership ID and my activation code... Bother
 
UPDATE WITH WEBSITE ERROR.
if you were following my post and problems here is what MS tech did. Katie at tech support looked into the issue I've had for 6 days now that I know of.
She got back to me earlier today and we had to set up a new ID for me on the DVC site. It was like just joining again, nothing lost. We set it up on Chrome because Katie said the DVC site works better with Chrome. I was OK with that because it still didn't work on IE anymore, I don't know why it stopped all of a sudden. Anyway it works now on Chrome and I'll let you know if I have any problems in the coming days.

PS: if your getting the box saying service not available, check back later and it keeps flashing see if there is a error code # in the bottom right corner of the box. Call support and tell them you have a error code and give them the number. That's what I did when Verizon told me about that # it's a Disney issue.
