Tell me what you guys think. I just started the process of buying SSR and have sent my deposit plus half. Now I told my agent that where I work we dont get to put down vacation time till Jan. Now seeing that I take one week a year at WDW and one week on the cruise, I have 150 points will not use them on cruise, I will take my vacations JUNE JULY AUGUST and SEPT fairly flexable here,do you think I will have a lot of trouble dont care what resort I stay in. Or should I try and cancell. REALLY LOVE DVC.
Please help with my problem. thanks::MickeyMo .

Sometimes I wonder if our agents are just more interrested in the sale rather than letting us know it might not be in our best interest.

If I'm understanding correctly, you cannot plan your vacation until January and it will fall between June and September. Is that right?

If so, I don't think you'll have a problem. You're still 8-9 months ahead for August and September, and all of the months you mention are not exactly peak demand at DVC. There will definitely be something available for that period if you're booking 6+ months ahead of time, and I bet most times you'll be surprised at the resorts you have to choose from.

Thanks so much for replying I am going to buy SSR maybe one day we will be neighbors lol thats what I was hoping to hear.

thankyou, Barry & Rhonda

I agree with tjkraz - the months you listed are actually among the easiest to book WDW DVC accomodations. If you book in January, I predict no problem getting your first choice of dates and room size at one of the WDW DVC resorts.

In my mind, the only exceptions to the above might be a Grand Villa anywhere or a "specialty" view at the BWV.

HHI and VB are more difficult to book in the summer than are the WDW resorts - especially if you have to use the 7 month window.

Best wishes
