GRRRRRR! Stupid busy signal. Anyone know what's up?

I called right at 9:00 (eastern time) and got right through with no wait. The computers were VERY slow though.....

I expected quite a wait with the holiday yesterday.....

Monday is the busiest - no Monday - so they have to do Monday and Tuesday - plus people on the wait got calls too!!!

This entire month will be very busy for MS - many members are taking advantage of their 11 month windows to make December reservations. December is argualy the most popular month for DVC members to visit WDW.

Mondays are always the busiest day of the week and since yesterday was a Holiday, today will be even busier!

People are making 11 month reservations for next December, plus with this being the first day MS is open since Friday, they are very busy.
I called right at 9 am, and was talking to MS by 9:03, and was done by 9:05.

I can't believe how excited I am to officially have my next Disney trip reserved. It's 11 months away!

December is probably THE most popular time at Disney. For that reason members call day-by-day to be sure they can get their reservations.

Since yesterday was a holiday, it means everyone is calling today to add on days for their December 13th, 14, 15th and 16th dates.

That probably amounts to a call count equivalent to the total number of villas in all the DVC resorts combined. That's a lot of calls.

During normal times I think they have about 80 CM's manning the phones, but I was told (by a DVC systems manager) that at the busy times it's well over 100. Probably 120 or more CM's working the phones today would be my guess.

a friens said she has been calling since 9:10 with constant busy signals as of right now I called at 9:00 and when I pushed the 1st # 3 it rang for 1-2 minutes before being able to push the 2 nd 3 then waited 1-2 minutes it ended at 9 :10 but for her still no getting through

I guess I got lucky. I called about 10:30 Eastern time and waited about a minute before I actually talked with someone. I called back about 10 minutes later with an additional question and got thru also. I figured it would take forever.
