Can't Get Priority Seating..What's the Deal??

We're staying on-site at the RPR Dec. 28-31st and I am trying to make priority seating for Motown Cafe and Margarittaville...each time I call, they tell me that they can't take priority seating yet, "in case a large group calls"..that "I should call back in a week or two, that this is their busy time". I said "yes, I realize it is your busy time, that is why I am calling 3 weeks in advance to make a reservation". I told them I was staying on-site, and it is only for 4 people at 6:30 (rather early)..each time, I'm told to call back...does anyone know what's up with this??? Does City Walk have a problem making ressies?? I thought these places took ressies 30 days in advance??? Anyone have any ideas??

At the busy periods they tend to discourage ps or reservations in march Margritville didn't take any after the 16th I think I agree its silly as everyone makes a ps or reservation because its busy
