Le Cellier is booked solid for dinner while we are at WDW and we really dont want to use TS credits for lunch then walk around the parks in the heat.

My kids LOVE a great steak. My 7 year old is a filet mignon fanatic. Where else in the world can we get amazing steaks?

The Char Crusted Filet medallions at the Kons Cafe were VERY close in quality to the filet at LeCellier. The desserts at Kona were better than LeCellier. I highly recommend trying Kona if you are not already booked there- we loved it and will eat there again in the future.

my husband is a die hard le cellier fan but he swears the steaks at the concourse steakhouse were better! we thought yachtsmen steakhouse steaks were rather dry.

Thanks. We do have ADRs at Kona already but may add Concourse Steakhouse too.

We are taking a first timer to Disney so I was trying to spread our meals around so she could see the different resorts and we already have an ADR at Chef Mickeys.

Oh well you can never get TOO MUCH of the Contemp!

I had the best steak of my life :bounce: (no joke) at Le Chefs de France! I highly recommend it!!! :thumbsup2

I agree, for filet other than LECell, I would try Kona and Concourse, but I plan to try Maya Grill for the first time in August. A friend went there recently and said it was good, so thought I would give it a try too. Befor CRT dinner menu changed in February, their filet was pretty good too. Not many other places offer it that are 1 TS credit.

believe it or not, cora reef has a pretty good steak too. of course, it's all subject to the cut of meat, how it's done and the chef, anywhere you go, but i've learned the steakhouses aren't the only places that serve a good steak! :goodvibes

Tony's at MK has an amazing NYStrip. I know you said Filet...but the NYStrip is really good too! jmo!

Now I am realllllllllly hungry.

I would love to eat at California Grille but don't want to use 2 TS credits for it.

Off to check out the menus at the other places listed. I have never had steak at Coral Reef!

We like Chef's de France as well as Yachtsman Steakhouse for steaks along with Le Cellier

If you don't mind using 2 credits I really loved eating steak at Jiko's.
It was served with macaroni cheese, amazing.
And after or before dinner you can enjoy the animals at Animal Kingdom Lodge, awesome.

He always get the filet. HE says it is the BEST! The kids love the desserts (white choc painting puzzle).

This is not considered a steak, but if you love Prime Rib like I do, you can't beat cinderella's castle. It was mouthwatering good!

I too have heard great things about Coral Reef's steak, we made an ADR just for that purpose.

The Yachtsman and Jiko also have great filet but they are 2TS credits. We are giving the Concourse Steakhouse a try on our upcoming trip based on feedback from friends of our that had dinner there on their last trip and said the steak was great.

We ate at both Le Cellier and Kona Cafe for dinner a few eeks ago. I had filet mignon at both. I really enjoyed the filet at Kona better. Le Cellier's was good, but a little overcooked. Kona's spices were really good and it was cooked to perfection. Plus the dessert was better.

We love the steak here! It's got this fantastic gorgonzola butter over the top - yum!!

Also, Concourse Steakhouse is another favorite!

The fillet I had at Yachtman's Steakhouse was so tender I could literally cut it with my fork! It probably qualifies as the best steak I've ever eaten. And unfortunately I was so full from all the other courses that I couldn't finish the steak.
