should I keep trying or do you have another suggestion. We are doing chef mickey's, but I really wanted to do a princess breakfast too

If it's princesses you are after and not the castle, there is also the Akershus princess breakfast.

I happen to prefer lunch. It's a few dollars more, but the food is better at lunch than it is at breakfast (at both CRT and Akershus), and lunch fits in better with a morning rope drop touring strategy.

Did you try 1900 Park Fare in the GF? They have Cinderella too and it's better food, IMO.

I would book something as a backup, but keep trying! This is one place that if people aren't going to show up, they will cancel because otherwise they'll be charged. Room only reservations have all the way up to 5 days prior to the reservation to cancel, and you have to cancel the actual restaurant reservation within (I think) two or three days, so I would keep trying if you really want it.

I'd try Akershus. You get 5-6 princesses...and much more interaction! The food is good...but then again, I love breakfast food if I don't have to cook it!:thumbsup2

We got a table for Jan 14 2 weeks ago. We just kept trying and finally got a 9:30am ressie for 4. So I say book something else in the meantime-just in case(chef Mickey's, 1900 pf, Crystal palace) and keep trying.

Although if you want princesses I agree- try Akershus at the Norway pavilion

We've done the breakfast in the castle lots of times. The food is just OK. We're trying lunch this time -- check out the menu. You get to choose what you eat, it's still at a set price, and the princesses from breakfast will all be there for lunch.

(dinner is different -- no princesses going from table to table).

Based on our recent lunch at CRT, I'd do Akershus. We had almost zero interaction with the princesses. And, what we had was so rushed it was ridiculous. The princesses were basically doing one quick sprint around the room and that was it. The lunch was over and they were hustling everyone out so they could refill the restaurant and do it all again. Breakfast can't be any better.

For years we absolutely loved doing lunch in the Castle. Never again. I told the manager that, and I'm sticking to it.
