Can't get in touch with SoutWest. Anyone know....

..........when they will start selling tickets past August? I have emailed them several times, and when I try to call, the wait time says "one hour and forty five minutes"! They used to say on their website when they start the next batch of tickets, but I can't find it anywhere.

On March 23, we will open our schedule for sale through October 30, 2010. This date is subject to change. Please check back frequently.

Just a note to ANYONE flying pretty much ANYWHERE right now - you know that bad weather we've been having on the East Coast lately (continuing today)? Well, airlines are INUNDATED with calls from immediately-affected passengers.

Now is NOT a good time to call regarding future flights or information.

Besides, if you were to get through to Southwest, the reservationists would tell you something to the effect of, "We'll know when you know". SW doesn't reveal the information on schedule extensions to their employees. Sure, they now post the (subject to change) date on their website - but the employees don't have any inside/advance information.

Before all the bad weather started on the east coast I had called to see about October and was told that March 23rd is when they'll release flights past Aug-Oct. I couldn't wait. I booked Jetblue.
