Can't get Fantasmic Dinner Package for 12/13

Tried to book the dinner package for 12/13 at Mama Melrose and the CM says she can't book it because Mama Melrose won't take PSs before 60 days out. I know that this is the usual PS policy for MGM restaurants at dinner, but I told her this doesn't make sense with the dinner package but she held firm.

Anyone else been able to book the Fantasmic package more than 60 days out?

I could be wrong, but I've heard the dinner package can only be made a week ahead. While you can get a PS, it will not be a dinner package. To get the dinner package, you have to make your reservation within that certain time.

You can book the new FDP all the way through the end of the test period, which is 12/16. Other posters have reported booking the FDP for Thanksgiving and early December, and that is beyond the 60 day window.

Sorry you got a misinformed CM. Call back and try someone else. If you still encounter resistance, politely insist on talking to a supervisor.

I called back and got Mama Melrose for 4 p.m. on 12/13. According to this CM, Fantasmic is at 6 p.m. that night (not 6:30 as I was told on the first call, and not 7 according to my notes about what hours were on the comparable date last year), so 4 pm was the last time.

Also according to this CM, we will be able to order off the regular menu.

Guess we'll see when we get there!
