Can't get any ADRs!! Will we get to eat?!

WDW restaurants don't hold tables for walk-ups; if they're fully booked for the rest of the day (which happens often), they won't even let you wait for a table, they'll just politely turn you away.
In December 2008 I tried getting a lunch ADR no matter the time for any of the table service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom that serve lunch. Anyway the Cast Member who looked on the computer said they were all sold out no matter the location or time. Now when I was at the Magic Kingdom that day with my friends I told them this and one of them said let's try Liberty Tree Tavern and see what they say. Well when we walked in I remember it was busy with a lot of others waiting to be seated and to my surprise it we were able to get in without any ADR's and only waited 5 minutes to be seated. So do you think it's possible that someone had cancelled an ADR at the last minute, because how could we have got a table when I was told all their restaurants for lunch were not available with any ADR's?

I don't know which dates you are going but there is a Sept 13th at 9:35 p.m...party of 2 available.
I know from past experience in trying to get a table there that the later times come up available the most often. Try searching for 9 p.m. & good luck!

We'll be there the 18th-22nd I think I got everything I wanted to try!! We're going to try Kona on our first night for dinner, then 'Ohana the day we leave for breakfast! I think that will be perfect! I was also able to get Tokyo Dining, Coral Reef, and 50's Prime Time ADRs! :cool1: Thanks for your help everyone! Can't wait to start my pre-trip report!

Kona is one of my favorites, I hope you enjoy it as much as we have. (And from what I've gleaned here, others like it too!)

I'm going in early-mid September, booked about a month ago, no 'Ohana reservations were available.

I was flexible with the day, I checked every day of my 8 day trip. If you want to go at say 6pm, don't search for a 6pm reservation, search for a 7. The system will check 2 hours either way, since they don't open until 5 checking for a 6pm reservation means you are checking one total hour less than you would be if you looked for a 7.

Anyway, I checked 7-10 times a day for a week, and one time once a 6:30 popped up.

As others said, persistence and patience are required, but I really believe you will get it if you're flexable.

I would make an ADR for Kona, I actually prefer it to Ohana, and I've never had any trouble getting one for there.
