Can't get a hold of my DVC rep?

I have not been able to get a hold of my DVC rep now for two days. Is this usually like this?

It is a holiday and they have vacation like many others. I know you are anxious, but the points will most likely still be there on Monday...hang in there.

Perhaps your guide took a few days off to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with his/her family. If you cannot wait until Monday, just call and ask if someone else is available to help you.

I just remembered that you are in the process of buying a resale from TTS so are you asking about getting in touch with someone at TTS? From the wording in your post, I thought you were trying to contact a DVC guide. If you are trying to reach someone at TTS and your sales rep is out of the office for Thanksgiving, just ask to speak to any available sales rep in the office.

I agree.

Question, as I've seen several threads about reps not returning calls in a timely fashion. I totally understand being maybe on a vacation, out for a few days, holidays, working the cruise, etc. But when you get their voicemail, does their message state how long they'll be out? Being in an office setting myself, when I take vacation or will be out of the office for several days, I change my voicemail message & let callers know that I'll be out & when I'll be back. Are the DVC reps doing this? Just curious.

Can't remember my guide EVER answering the phone but, he always gets back to me in a timely fashion.

I always leave the nature of my call & the words "add-on" seem to work wonders.;)

Ours forgot to change his message, as he took Monday off(not usual) since he worked on Turkey Day. I figured that's what happened but DH's nose was out of joint. Like he never messed up his voicemail message ever! :rotfl:
