can't get a discount at WL for our dates... do I switch to poly for $50 more?

I really wanted to stay at WL, because I thought it would have the best "christmas vibe".... how is poly? we have not stayed at either...

We absolutely LOVE WL but for 50.00 more....I might have to try Poly. Do you have small children? If you are going to spend alot of time at MK then I would switch to Poly. You can always schedule dinner at WL or visit to see the xmas decorations. We are doing first week of December and I can't wait to see WL all decked out. My kids are 7 boy and 13 girl so they LOVE bunk beds and it makes our lives easier that they have their own "space" for the week and not sleeping together!!!

I don't think you could go wrong either way!!

We do have little kids... I thought it would be nice to take the boat over the MK from WL... so torn... I dont know what to do and my family has told me to make the decision??

I happen to LOVE the Poly. Is it $50 more or $50 more per night? For $50 more I would switch! One of my first memories of Disney after it first opened was coming down the volcano slide at the Poly. My parents wouldn't let my younger sister go down because of her age! She was so mad.

I switched from WL to Poly. I love WL, but Poly has many transportation options because it is right next to the TTC.

Poly!!! Have never stayed there, but have stayed at WL twice, once was in December, couldn't get the discount but stayed there anyway for the Christmas vibe, it was fine, but if you can stay on the monorail for $50 I would do it in a minute, stayed at the GF after the WL and LOVED being on the monorail, would love to try the Poly some day...

We've stayed at both and while the WL is our favorite during the holidays as far as decorations are concerned, the Poly is our favorite resort overall. With that said, if the WL isn't available and the Poly is only $50 more, I'd definitely go with the Poly. Good luck deciding, but I don't think you would regret staying at the Poly.
