Can't find our DVC member cards

I am going in two weeks, and I need to buy an annual pass. I can't find our dvc member cards, I am afraid they were thrown away with our expired annual passes. Has anyone been able to buy a dvc annual pass with just the resort card that says dvc member? I ordered a new card today, and the member services person said it would take 4-6 weeks. I am trying to avoid a trip to Saratoga Springs for a new card since we are coming down for the Princess half marathon and time is tight. Thanks for any help.

Plan on a SSR trip. You need the card for the AP.

You will absolutely need that member card as well as a photo ID to get your APs.

If you stop in at the DVC Sales Center at SSR, they can re-print your membership cards for you fairly quickly. If you're leaving for WDW that soon, there's no way you'd get a new set in the mail in time.

I agree with the others, that membership card is a must for purchasing APs. It's the first thing they ask for. I also heard you can get temp cards. Can you get them at the preview location at the BWV? (Not sure what it's called). If you could, you could just get it there and then walk to the gateway and get your passes. BTW, during our stay at OKW and BWV (Jan. 18-28), my room card never said DVC on it. Both my cards said Room Only. While my husband's card said DVC Room Only. I asked the CM and she said she hadn't figured out why it does it like that. I was the lead on the reservations if that makes any differences.

They do need your member # to key into the computer to process your pass, I assume to confirm the membership is current. I've heard they can call member services to confirm (if during the hours they are open). I would take a screen print of your membership information from the member website.
