Can't do Sunrise Safari!

I just called to book the Sunrise Safari and was told DS is too young to take part because it's a bumpy ride. They will only allow kids over 3 on the safari.

It was suggested that one adult stay with DS while the others do safari, but I don't want our party to be separated!

Guess we'll have to go back to AKL in the future!

I did the sunrise safari last month with my 12 month old daughter. The actual safari itself is between 45 minutes and an hour. She loved the first 35 minutes but then had a meltdown for the rest..and there is no getting off! The ride isn't that bumpy because they are going slow to look at the animals. Maybe they changed the requirements because of my daughter's meltdown!
