We are planning another trip to DL and can't decided which is a better time to go Nov 2006 or Feb.2007 Any suggestions? The biggest problem I have with Feb 2007 is I am a big planner and I can't start making reservations until sometime during the summer. Another dilemma is which hotel, last time (Nov 2005) we stayed at Paradise Pier, this time we are thinking Disneyland Hotel. Are prices usually lower in Feb or higher?

Feb is in our rainy season if that helps. There's not usually much rain in November.

I've been in both Nov and Feb and I much prefer Nov. The last 2 years we've gone in Feb. and both times we got poured on at least one day of our trip. If you're not going with kids, it isn't too big of a deal. Throw on some ponchos and just deal. But if you have kids, it sort of stinks.

IMO there is alot of additional benefits to Nov.... low crowds, holiday decorations are up (or are starting to go up, depending on when in Nov), weather is nice, etc.

Both Nov. and Feb. are in the value season times, so rates should be pretty similar I'd think.

I have to agree with PP's, we went this past February from the 25-March 1 and it was the first time ever in the 50+ times I have been that I have gotten rained on! I know people say it gets rid of crowds but it was NOT fun. Especially with an infant in tow, had to stay in the entry of Jungle Cruise to wait for it to even let up enough to brave walking back to the hotel.

November is fun too depending when you go because you could hit the Christmas decorations which are beautiful. And it's closer!!!!

Either way, have a great trip!

We love Nov. My DD's birthday is the 17th and the Christmas decorations are always up by then. The weather is generally really nice.

I agree with November. I went last week of october last year and they had already started putting christmas decos up and it was so magical. November would be a great time to go with that added magic! Have fun!
