I don't know what is wrong with me...I can't seem to decide on a stateroom. I was actually thinking of a post PIF-down...now I'm contemplating an upgrade!
Currently in 8520 for the Alaska 9-nighter. 8520 is under a public walkway off the adult pool area but doesn't look like it's actually under the whirlpool. But is it too forward for an Alaska sailing? I think this is the smallest ship I've ever been on. But only seasick issues were Atlantic during a hurricane. Rest of family has only done Caribbean so no experience in rough waters.
Do I throw another $648 at this already expensive trip to upgrade to either 8552 or 8556. which are mid-ship but under more public areas (food areas by pool)? I am a pretty light sleeper but do wear earplugs at night. We are NOT night people, and we are 3 hours behind so I'd think at night we are going to be wiped. Even without the time difference my kids were a little too tired to enjoy Pirate Night and Star Wars Night, although they will be 16 months older this time (10 and 7).
I know I'm probably over thinking this, but any other differences among these rooms I should consider? Pretty sure they all have same bed set up, storage, verandah, etc. Thoughts? Opinions? I think my compulsive thinking has set in...
Thanks.
