Hi; we will be staying for 7-10 days on site (PO or WL), and luckily are flexible about dates. We are a family of three, with a 5 yro. We have been unable to decide whether to travel in Nov. or Dec. (on either month we'll try to stay clear of busy holidays). We ruled out October since low season for Disney resorts starts again on Nov. 2.

My main concern is that we live on the Caribbean, therefore, we're not used to cold temps. On the other hand, I am dying to see the Christmas decorations, although I know my DS will probably not be able to enjoy the hotel pool or attractions that involve water. Please give me your advice...BTW we are not first timers, but my son does not remember anything about our previous trips, so this one is very special for us.

Thanks for any advice or tips!

and there were people swimming. It got a little chilly at night. We also went over Thanksgiving and the weather was great. If you go the week after Thanksgiving, I hear its the slowest time of the year. You'd get that benefit plus the Christmas decorations. Have fun!!

We are going Nov 8-16. I think that is going to be a great week without alot of crowds.

I would go the week after Thanksgiving just to see the Christmas Decorations.

I have gone in November before and it was really nice - not TOO cold but then, I'm from Michigan so cold is a relevant term! we are going the first week in December this year and have been told that the weather can be pretty unpredictable so we are bringing clothes for BOTH types of weather and what we don't have, we'll pick up. Either way, we are going swimming because the pools are all heated. Good Luck!

We are also going the first week in Dec. We were going to go in Feb but then found out that dh gets a free ticket for a 5 day hopper pass and we now have to go by Dec 19th for that so we are going the first week. I was so excited to find out all the magical things that happen in December so that was what convinced us to go then, I was even going to book a little earlier and the man on the phone told me to wait until the 1st as it dies down after that and it very dead there. We are so excited!!!:bounce:

We went last year from 11/16 - 11/23 and during the days temp were in the mid/low 80's and at night it was a little cool. To me temps were great because we were able to swim during the days and at night we still wore shorts (I think we did have a sweatshirt on one night though). Crowds were very low throughout the week, and Christmas decorations started popping up all over the resorts and parks.
