Can't Decide HS all day or nice dinner?

I originally booked a dinner at HS for my family but, will all the construction going on is it really worth spending all day there or leaving in the late afternoon? I could really use everyone's help on this because if we don't spend all day there I was thinking about booking a dinner at the redesigned Flying Fish.

I think that Fantasmic and Star Wars fireworks are worth staying or at least coming back from Flying Fish for.

Thanks!! I totally forgot about the new Star Wars fireworks. Are they only for the summer or will they be around still in October?

I thought they were going to be going for a long time

We spent just the late afternoon and evening in DHS, did the dessert party for the fireworks and we did everything we wanted to do, including TSMM twice. DH is not a ToT or RRC fan, so we skipped those against my wishes. The fireworks were the highlight of the trip.
