Help me decide if we should have dinner at Ohanas or 1900PF. I've heard it's noisy in 1900, and mixed reviews about ohanas.

I am dining with DH, DS2.5, MIL. What do you think quality of food and noise level?

Thanks:-)

I voted for 1900 Park Fare. It is one of my favorites. The food is much better than other character buffets such as Chef Mickey's. I have never had an issue with the noise there.

It depends on what you are looking for. Ohana is not a character meal but 1900 PF is.

They are 2 totally different dining experiences.

If you want a buffet...then 1900 PF is the better choice.

If you want to be served...then go for 'Ohana's.

*We did both last year, several times, & both are great!!:thumbsup2

We ate at both Ohana and 1900 Park Fare in February. Loved them both! The other posters are correct, they're 2 totally different experiences. Ohana was more cozy, familyish and the meal was served "family style". Food here was really very good and the dessert one of the best we had at WDW. 1900 Park Fare dinner was equally good but the character were superb! Stepsisters were awesome and the whole atmosphere is very whimsical. So really it depends on what kind of dining experience you want because I felt both meals were fantastic :)

I love 1900 Park Fare, but yes it is loud. But the buffet is one of the best
Disney offers, and you can't beat the character interaction. If you are looking for a peaceful, laid back dining experience, you should look elsewhere.

I am more concerned with the food than anything else. I've heard mixed reviews about both, and really am trying to make a decision. Again, characters/buffet/sit-down....not as important as quality of food.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Keep 'em coming! :)

well since it is your son maybe O'hana unless he doesn't mind Princesses and cinderella. which it sounds like he doesn't. In my family we are girls and then my dad, and he just goes along with whatever us girls would like. He has been trained well...hahaha. I think the character experience would be great, we are going to 1900 this trip for a first time since it has changed some stuff up, but have gone to O'Hana a few times, though they recently changed up some stuff. One of my faves if they still have it is the Shaved Ice bucket...it is actually a bucket of shaved ice...it is so awesome, and then the activities they have. The coconut races and hula lessons are just a crack up actually. We have great family memories from O'Hana. One trip we were there with a large group, we were having a family reunion and they made it so special, we always look back and just start laughing about that meal with all the activities!
