Can't Decide Between Crt And Psd Breakfast

Hello,

I have spoken the Dining Dept. many times and keep getting various info. Are you guaranteed to see at least some princesses upstairs while diningat CRT. I know you only see CInderella downstairs for a photo, but I do not want to go just for that and see no princesses or jsut one upstairs. This is why I thought PSD would be better. Is the food that much different between the two? If PSD continues with only one credit, isn't this the better bet? Would young girls (4 and 5) relaly care they were eating in the castle? What is the atmosphere like at PSD inside?

Both have pros and cons. We certainly saw more princesses at Akershus (Belle (in yellow ballgown), Ariel, Aurora, Jasmine & Pocahontas (who is not technically a princess, but it was great to meet her!). At CRT, we saw Cindy downstairs, Belle in the blue and white dress (who my daughter didn't recognize because she was looking for the yellow dress!), Fairy Godmother, Alice in Wonderland and Mary Poppins. So - not a lot of Princess bang for your buck.

On the other hand, the castle is a pretty magical setting, whereas Akershus is not as "royal".

We have not done breakfast at Akershus (we did lunch because I am told there's a better chance of seeing Ariel at lunch), but I can tell you that the whole "process" (of checking in, announcing your name, having your pic taken with the "greeting" princess, and ushering you to your table) was handled infinitely better at Akershus. Pretty flawless in my estimation, whereas we waited and waited and waited at CRT.

I'm not sure the food is great at either. The breakfast at CRT was kind of ho-hum - pretty standard stuff. I would expect the breakfast at PSB to comparable, so I don't think the food will help you decide.

Bottom line, if you NEED to see Cindy, you should do CRT. If you want to get the most Princess bang for your buck, PSB is the way to go. Good luck!

done lunch at CRT so no compare and contrast.

There are four characters upstairs at CRT. One time when we went there were three princesses and the Fairy Godmother. The next time there were two princesses, Mary Poppins and Alice.

I can't say for certain that the castle had to anything with the my daughter's reaction but I suspect it did. Walking up to and into the castle creates excitement. She now wants to live in the castle. She was three and four the two times we went.

My suggestion:

Do the PSB meal (breakfast, lunch, OR dinner) AND 1900 Park Faire at the GF for dinner.

You'll get a LOT more princess interaction at PSB than at CRT, in my expereince.

And you'll get a lot more DIRECT Cinderella interaction at 1900 Park Faire than you will at CRT. She visits every table and spends a couple minutes with the kids, at least.

As for food...well, CRT used to be a quality meal but over the past couple of years...honestly, it's not worth in IMHO. Maybe to do once with the kids, just to eat in the castle. But if you're looking for food quality and actual interaction with the charcters, there are better options. Again, all IMHO.
