We are WDW vets and have not been to Seaworld in years and have never been to Seaworld San Diego.
I generally don't enjoy theme park eating. I find the food overpriced and usually not to my liking. But I've read some good things about the Seaworld all day meal plan. I am undecided. There are 3 of us, so it is about $100. Not sure about eating breakfast there because we are using public transport to get there from downtown San Diego and everyone may be too hungry to wait. Will definitely have lunch there and am up in the air about whether we will last the day to make dinner worthwhile. I also noted that ribs are an "extra charge" at all of the restaurants that offer them.
The Seaworld site is not that informative because the "menus" do not give prices. Any opinions would be appreciated

I would just plan on eating lunch at Sea World. I have been to Sea World numerous times(Orlando) and have never found enough to do there to last all day. I usually try to get there when they open and am usually leaving by 2 or 3 pm.

I think it,so a great deal if your there all day. Just being able to go for for a water, milk, pop and a bowl of fruit a couple of times is worth it when combined with lunch.
We have gone to SD Sworld for years and can still spend a full day there. Actually we will be there next week and will likely spend a couple of part days and two full days at SW.

I have a pass to SW San Diego, and although, I have not been much this year, I do like using the all day dining when I plan to stay all day. I will duck into the nearest restaurant to grab a drink or fruit or even a dessert depending on what I feel like. If you are big eaters, then it is worth it, or like to try multiple items, because you can get back in line and get something different. If you are more likely to be small eaters then it might not be worth it.

My favorite place to go is Ship Wreck Rapids Cafe. I tend to get the roast beef sandwich, which is about $10.00. Most of the entrees run between $10 - 15 per person.

We get the meal plan most visits when SW is open late nights. We arrive around 10am. Theres plenty to see and do to last a full day and into the night if you enjoy the exhibits and rides as well as the shows. The sea lion show as well as Shamu have different night shows than their daytime versions and are well worth staying to see.

We eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the park. It also saves if you go thru the line and just grab a drink any time between meals. When we were there last year there was only one rib meal at Shipwreck cafe that had an extra charge. Theres another bbq place thats just as good which did not have any extra charge.

The meals we got averaged $14-$20 each including drink and dessert and tax. Plus we got several sodas and coffee/coco in the evening. It saved us quite a bit although we did get a 10% AP discount on the plan. It would not save money if you only ate one meal and a few drinks. In that case I'd opt to get the cheapest refillable drink mug which allows cheap refills all day. The mug is good for refills on future visits as well.
