Can't contain my excitement!

So, I am obviously a new member

As of 2 days ago I officially booked my buy 4 get 3 trip for 7 days/nights at WDW. I am 25 years old and have never ever ever been, despite the fact that my family lives less than two hours from the park!

I am going with my 2 year old son "R" (who turns 3 shortly before we go). We are staying at the POP and driving down from Indy.

I booked for May 11th-18th, but I am such a planner that I have started doing it already! I am going to buy the Unofficial Guide tonight, but if anyone else has any other suggestions please let me know! This will be our last vacation before I start nursing school so I wanted to make it a good one.

I just want to say thanks for this board...I have already received so much great information from this place and hope to get much more! Look forward to becoming acquainted with the board.

Ahh darn. I went and bought the Unofficial and the everything guide to WDW/Universal/Orlando. I looked at the Passporter's Guide but didn't get it. I may have to go back out and get it!

Can I ask a question? Some of you have those things at the bottom of your signatures like yours- that say thanks "username" or have the pictures like yours, what are they for??

Thank you for the tip! I saw the pictures of those hotels and they are gorgeous. We will have to splurge again after graduation I think, but that is 3 years off haha.

Once you have the guide, check out their website, touring plans dot com. It has a crowd calendar that you can access with info from that book, and it has really been helpful to us. I also suggest All Ears dot net and Mousesavers dot com if you haven't seen them yet. Have a great time!

Thanks! I have heard a lot about allears and mousesavers. I am definitely going to check them out. I have been so excited about this trip that is still 5 months away that I have been slacking on school work, so I need to set aside some time to look at those sites. Its crazy how much you should put into this to make it worthwhile!

I have the Unofficial Guide too and I love it! It helped me out so much.
