Cant bring own wedding flowers.....

I was just reading my contract and it says that you have to get your flowers from Disney if you have an outside wedding... WHAT!!!! I didn't know that and already had all my flowers made up. I wish I would have known.

Why do they do this???

When your wedding is outside, traveling guests can see the flowers as they pass by.
My planner told me it was so the floral could all be associated with Disney, that guests can see.
I guess that are worried we might show up with some ugly flowers and Disney guests think they are responsible.?? lol

I think it's kinda like the photography policy.. another way to make a little extra $$$

I am so confused.... I e-mailed my consultant and they said you can bring your personal florals (bouquets, bouttonieres and corsages) the floral they are talking about is the ones that need to be set up...

Can someone confirm this is right, when I read the contract I read it as you need to order your flowers from disney, does not specify what type of flowers.

I thought you couldn't even bring your own floral.
Sounds to me like you just can't bring centerpieces, so they don't have to set them up.
did your consultant not give you a reason about the centerpieces?
I would just email her and explain exactly your situation and try to get answers from her.
I am just as confused as you were. Maybe Ken was joking when he told that about the flowers.
No one can answer better than your consultant I guess, just go with what she said and bring your personals.

This is correct. You can bring personal floral, just not altar pieces, swagging, chairs & covers, etc.
