Can't Book CRT on Disney app

Today is my 180+10 day mark for booking dining reservations. I first tried to get those online this morning via my laptop. I was locked out of the +10 days and could only view/reserve for our arrival day. I switched to the app and was able to get everything we wanted, except CRT for breakfast. I called at 7:00 and after 54 minutes was able to book CRT when we wanted for breakfast. I just don't understand why I couldn't book CRT on the app. Is this normal?

I only see the option to call on the app. It's possible they don't have reservations where you have to pay full price to book them at time of booking enabled on the app yet.

Are any other places that charge in full at time of reservation that are available to book on the app?

I've never been able to book any of the pre-paid stuff on the app, like CRT, dessert parties, etc.

That's a great point! I hadn't thought of that. It was just frustrating when I couldn't access my +10 days on the laptop and then couldn't get my CRT on the app. But pixie dust sprinkled down and all is well! Thank you both!

Mine wouldn't let me book on the app last year but let me do it using the browser.

Yes, it is normal on the app. You cannot book any pre-paid experiences on the app.

Using the browser is the same as booking on your computer. But the app doesn't let you book any of the prepaid events yet. It's a bit of a PITA sometimes.

The cast member I spoke with on the phone yesterday really put things in perspective when I asked something about the app....

She basically said the app is best to use only once in the parks, and use a computer/full website for everything else if able. Seems that you can do a lot more through the actual website!
