oh well any holiday with loved ones is better then non at all:thumbsup2

Thankyou again Much appreciated

Cindy you always get one tht has to voice there opinion when it really isn't needed in an already delicate situation. Like you say it's ok for people to think it but don't say it as it can be missinterpreted without seeing the persons face when they say it.
As for November it is a fantastic time to go TRUST me. Have been 3 times both beginning mid and end chicka and we had gorgeous hot weather in the 80's. The only difference is at night it goes a bit cooler so you will need a cardigan. My DB is ex RAF based in Germany so he totally understands ur situation. Pixie dust sent and honestly if it ends up being November u will hv a great time and weather. I hv to go end August which I don't want to but db ex wnt allow his dd4 out of school for more than 3 days and tht was a court job blooming trout:lmao: I much prefer nov- dec. lower crowds great sales at the malls and hardly any queues for the rides and also the lovely Christmas decorations.:grouphug:

Thankyou so much for that Info,It always helps when somebody else has been a few times and can tell you what its like:thumbsup2
I dont mind at all it being cooler in the evening it was just the days that worry me,I wouldnt mind if it was just sunny and warm like our summer days as I know here you get the horrid wind but their you get a warmer breeze!

My boys will swim not matter what :rotfl2: but I just want to be able to enjoy it with them,Im all for sales and shopping:woohoo: and we have ALWAYS wanted to see the xmas decs so theres a plus side to it.
Im starting to calm a little now and think about the fact that aslong as we go together thats all that matters!!

Military life is hard for anyone and honestly we never make a fuss about anything! I knew the life i was going to live when i married Dh I just think right now we need this.

Thinking of you, hopefully the padre will be able to get your husbands leave reinstated. I know how disappointed I would be if I had to change my dates.

Thankyou,
As much as i dont want to change my dates in normal circumstances I proberly wouldnt mind as much as right now,I wanted to know that at the end of the surgery and the long recovery I would be making it up to my family by having the trip!
The worst part is if we move our dates we will have to pay aload more to go on a trip we already nearly paid for......or lose it altogether along with the money, although im slightly coming around to November now and that is a month that the flights dont shoot up by ££'s.

Again thanks for taking the time to post :flower3:

Hello all,

Im having another night where I just can not seem to get to sleep!!!
So i thought id let you all know that we have not heard anything yet due to everybody being off work over the bank holiday because of the Jubilee.

Dh goes into work tomorrow and he is hoping to hear an up-date wether it be good news or not,I have got a few plans incase the news is bad.

If work decide they can not allow Dh the time off then we have the choices of paying an extra £2080 for flights in october:scared1: Thats if the flights havent gone up even more!!
OR
We go in November,Now November was my last resort originally but ive heard some great things about the month plus the flight's at the moment are cheaper then what we paid for september and so we will only have to pay £120pp to change the dates,This still comes to £720 but thats better then the October cost! we have not seen the Xmas decs so that would be nice.

Anyways just wanted to let you all know that theres been no news of yet and I hope you all had a nice Bank holiday wk end:thumbsup2

 Just wanted to say hope it all works out for you, you sound like a person that is made of strong stuff, hang in there, im sure you will have a good time, you sound like you deserve it hun:hug:

We have been twice before in November and weather was lovely and warm and im a right nesh carrot!

Fingers crossed for you for a happy outcome, and sometimes you have to challenge things, you are doing the right thing to me, best wishes and good luck:thumbsup2

Just wanted to pop in and send some love and pixy dust to you. I grew up very near RAF lossiemouth and many of my friends are from military backgrouds, some followed in their mothers and fathers footsteps and signed up.

Its a hard life, and I have the upmost respect for anyone in the military "system", not just those serving. I know a girl who scheduled a C-section to increase the chance of her husband being their for the birth as he is in RAF, and even that leave got cancelled.

I really really hope and wish that your pardre makes this work for you and the family.

Huge pixy dust hugs

My family is all pretty much military and I always said Id never marry into the services:lmao: guess you cant choose who you fall in love with!
I know a few women who have done the scheduled birth so their partners are at the birth, one dad only had 1 days leave and the induction didnt go to plan the dad left only 2 hours after his baby was born!
we all understand about the missing of Bdays annivarsary's etc but the big things wow they can really get to you at times.

November was great - it was exciting watching places transform for Xmas :goodvibes

:hug: hope everything gets sorted soon so you can concentrate on getting well :hug:

Hoping for good results for you. If not granted the leave, I hope they will at least pay the extra it will cost to change dates.
