Cant Believe The World Cup Ticket Mess Up

I have been trying and trying for months on end to get world cup tickets but can I no!!!!!!!! I am so annoyed that the FA let the ticket touts get hold of the tickets and people are selling them for ridiculous amounts of money. There are so many dissapointed out there and why companies should make money on peoples misfortune I dont know.

I know how you feel, the same things happens regularly with band tickets, I went to see an artist the other day, my ticket cost me £30. I checked them out on ebay the day before and they were changing hands for upwards of £150!

I'm all for people making a profit but that is DISGUSTING!

Oh I've seen it FAR worse. I saw the Manics when I was 15, I'd say about 90% of the crowd was under 17. Me and my friend bought our tickets long in advance but when we arrived there were plenty of people who obviously hadn't. We saw a tour offering a ticket for £300! This was a £15 ticket for crying out loud! Sadly someone went and bought it, they only looked about 13 and were obviously desperate to get in. I was horrified.

I'm really annoyed that this continues to happen but there's little anyone can do to stop it beyond what they're already doing. Ebay are really wary of it now but it's hard to tell when someone is genuinely selling off a spare. A friend of ours pulled out of a gig a few years ago so we sold the ticket on ebay. We put it up at a few pounds over the face value (so it would cover it's percentage of booking fees and the original postage costs from where we bought it.) It sold for well over £200, we were actually sad that people were that desperate to get one.
