Can't believe it. Update p2

This morning my husband took my daughter's dog and cat to the vet for bathing and shots. The vet just called us and her cat is dead. They gave her the vaccination and 2 minutes later she was dead. They couldn't bring her back. We are in shock!

I'm so sorry for you. I know how you feel. I took my cat to the vet, and he was in distress, and they took him for x-rays and he died during the x-ray. It was completely heartbreaking and unexpected.

Dream was 8 years old. They think it was the rabies. She was healthy when she went into the vets this am. It was a freak thing. Sprite is taking it hard. She found Dream as a kitten tossed into the college parking lot with her littermates in the pouring rain. She brought the kitties to the student hangout and found jomes for all but Dream who came home with her. I remember picking her up and her coming up to the drivers side of the car and placing this tiny black fur baby in my arms and asking "can I keep her". I was hooked! And now she is no more from a freak vaccination reaction.
