Can't beat Renting -- Check out the Deals I've gotten lately!

I'm new to Renting DVC points and Can't believe the Deals I have been booking!

Going December 15th-16-17th with Check Out on the 18th for a Studio at Old Key West = 24 Points at $7 per Point!! Only $$168 -- No added fees, No tax!

January 21 at BWV in a Pool Preferred Studio for only $7 per point = $91
January 22nd and 23rd at Bay Lake Tower - Lake View = $460

May 2nd - May5th -- Animal Kingdom Villa Savannah view = $450

That's 9 Nights different Nights at 4 Different DVC Resort Villas for a Grand Total of Only $$1,169 --- You can't beat that!!

-- Unless of course You can convince the DH to Buy into DVC Yourself ....
I'm still working on that one!!

I just thought I would share My experience so far with Renting DVC poitns. Everyone I have dealt with has been super nice and courteous with Returning E-mails and PM's --- I've recieved some great advice and tips along the way and feel like I learn more about the system everyday. This site / the Threads / and People have only made Me want to Join DVC even more!

Thanks to Everyone! Can't wait for our Upcoming trips! I've never seen the World decorated for Christmas --- Much less been to the VMMCP before

Thanks for posting Amanda. I've been thinking about DVC rentals - I know absolutely nothing about it, including what it would cost to rent. But seeing your deals I think I may head on over to the DVC boards and see what I can learn!

We also rented for the 1st time and had a blast! OKW 1 bedroom, 5 days, 4 nights - $720!!! We had a view of the golf course and the bus stop was literally only about 100 feet from our front door! I told DH I will never vacation any other way again! Congrats on your awesome deals!

(it's a risk, though...you might start looking for a smaller resale contract like i did so you can book DVC stays on your own... )

I have come to understand the risk -- Esp. hearing other people's stories about it. However, I plan to buy within the next month or two hopefully!
My DVC agent Jeff encouraged Me last week to wait and see what incentives come out for the Month of Sept. since that will end the Fiscal year for DVC. So, Were going to do that in the next couple of days and hope for the best. And then crunch some numbers between Buying a Resale vs. Getting a Discount on BLT before its comepletely sold out! Thanks so much for Your post ---- I really appreciate all of the Information that people are willing to share!
