Can't afford it...any other recommendations?

Thanks for the help goofysgirl, but I think the lowest cat I can go is the cat 10. With kids as young as mine (3,10 and 10) I think I need the adjoining rooms, what do you think? Isn't cat 10 the lowest with these adjoining rooms?

By the way, great idea about the disney visa. Think I'll try for it!!!!

If money is a big issue, get two cat. 11's or 12's that are next to each other. An adult can still be in each room at night.

Have you priced other dates around the ones you picked? Sometimes a week makes a difference.

I have read a lot about the RCCL voyager class ships (voyager, explorer, navigator) and they really sound great! You can get a much better price than on Disney. I am pretty sure the newer RCCL ships only do 7+ nights, though, so it might not be that much cheaper. It pays to shop around for price, too!!

I probably would save for DCL over a shorter RCCL trip, as they use the older ships for those.

thanks. Yes, we have been on the Sovereign of the Seas (RCCI) and Carnival's Fantasy without the kids, and they just didn't seem to be what we are looking for when going with kids. However, they are both great, fun ships if you are looking for a quick getaway. I would do them again in a second. Just looking for something a little different this time.

Do check out Voyager (& others like it). Sovereign was launched in 1988 and Voyager in 1999. I would think they are very different!

Have you read the boards over at Cruisecritic.com? They aren't as Disney focused as we are here, and I'm sure you'll find some great info! :)
