What's up? I need my contract info and need to book a ressie!!!!

Did you just purchase? I had to call and ask for a supervisor to connect my points to my contract info.

From the website:

Member Services and the Member Online Booking Tool are temporarily unavailable today, December 9, to accommodate system updates.

In addition, Member Services will close at 2:00 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, December 10 for a training session and will reopen normal operating hours on Thursday, December 11 at 9 a.m. Eastern. Please note that the Member Online Booking tool at DVCMember.com will still be available during this time.

All of us at Disney Vacation Club appreciate your understanding as we update our systems, and we look forward to welcoming you "home" again soon.

I had same problem over past several months, ie I couldn't log in thru my laptop MSN IE browser, but could log in with my Samsung Notepad thru GoogleChrome browser. I called IT, and was advised to download GoogleChrome on my laptop. Sure enough after downloading GoogleChrome, I could get onto DVC Members thru GoogleChrome's browser.

Back down it went ,oh well I think the window has closed for tonight.Good luck tomorrow everyone.

Absolutely ridiculous how poor this website is. For as much as we pay for these services, it seems lately the site is down more than it is useful.

8:55 Thursday morning and I am not able to log in.

I put in my user name and pass word and it just sends me back to the welcome page, not logged in.

As of 9:20 AM Eastern:

"DVCMember.com is temporarily unavailable. For assistance, please call Member Services at (800) ********.

All of us at Disney Vacation Club appreciate your understanding as we update our systems, and we look forward to welcoming you "home" again soon."

The 12/4 system upgrade must have been a snafu. I have said other people say disney made notes in their accounts while they get things stable. I am still waiting to hear from MS that they made the change I asked them to make. Yesterday DVCMEMBER said i had no existing reservations.

I am unable to make it to the meeting. I hope someone brings up how dysfunctional the web site can be. Every time an upgrade or service to the web site is done there are problems.

The meeting was last Thursday. Questions are limited to the budget during the meeting. I think they know there are problems.

But you always wonder whether they care.

A few years ago after they redid the site and added on line booking, I started having problems getting on the site. I was using Apple products (an iMac and later also an iPad). Very often, more so on the iPad than the Mac, I could not get on with Safari. Typical problems iincluded trying to sign on and then just being sent again to the sign on page or getting a message that the site was down for maintenance (when there was no maintenance going on). I added Google Chrome and that tended to work although it also had problems, including having to clean the cache every time before trying to sign in to avoid the sign on page from freezing.

I emailed Member Services and Member Satisfaction on two occassions over a three month period and literally got no response other than acknowledgement of reciept. After my third email, I finally got a response that said the following: They were aware of the problems and when they set up the site they did not make sure that it would work with Apple products. They did not say they were working to fix the problems just that they knew they existed and it was caused essentially by spitting on the grave of Steve Jobs by not bothering to even make the system campatible to Apple products.

That last email exchange was just over two years ago. To this day, I still have the same problems, not always but often. In other words, they never bothered to fix a systems problem they knew they had.

Um, not make it compatible with Apple products? That's really dumb, if accurate. I'm not doubting you Drusba, just so you know.

All of Disney's IT seems to be a mess. I don't understand why a large company like Disney can't get it together. The only explanation is they don't want to spend the money, they probably think they don't have to.

I guess there is no hope for wishing for a DVC app for the IPhone / Android phones The Prophet

How many times have you had fast passes, dining reservations, and other items disappear, double book, switch times/people in the party, or still remain after you've booked or moved them in the MDE app? Careful what you wish for...after all, at least the app double booking a dining reservation doesn't irreversibly borrow points from the next use year.
