Canopy of Tulle?

Hello everyone!!

We are in the last details of wedding planning, and trying to cut down on the cost. I am wondering if the canopy of tulle really makes and impact in the white hall room? Does anyone have pictures of that room set up with or without the canopy of tulle? I mean at 2385$ it better make a BIG change for me to keep it in there.

Please let me know as soon as you can, we have to decide by next monday.

Wow it costs that much! We are having our reception in the White Hall Room. We just signed our contract so we haven't gotten all the details yet about our decor choices. But wow...I'd like to see what that looks like!

We are having a Whitehall reception as well
I would love to know if it is worth it! I saw a photo on Wishbook under Grand with the Tulle and it did look GORGEOUS!

Here's the picture our floral manager sent us. We decided it would be too much in the room and wasnt' necessary with the beautiful details on the ceiling and chandelier. If you want, go to the www.disneymeetings.com site and click on 360 tours. They have a view of the whole room without the tulle. I'm sure it would look nice either way, but for that price, I can get the coach!

But you are right, it takes away from the chandelier and we are having high table centerpieces.

i don't have any pics to share...but wanted to offer my opinion. I think the room will look beautiful without any tulle. Sure, it definitely adds a lot of elegance to the room, but i bet that your guests won't even know the difference if you decide not to have it. i doubt anyone would say "gee this is a beautiful reception, but what this room could really use is a tulle canopy!"

if trying to budget, i think this is something that could be cut (although the pics everyone posted are very pretty). Just my two cents

It was at the Grand Floridian, the Salon Ballrooms (I think the wedding had all five but I can't remember) but, if I remember correctly, the tulle canopy is always lit

We looked at using the Whitehall during our site visit. It was really nice! It is located in the GF Convention Center. If you walk into the GF Convention Center and then follow the hallway to the right, it is near the end of the hallway. It has a HUGE patio area that is right by the monorail, which we thought was really cool!

If you go to stvsweddings.com and go to the gallery you can Lisa and Joel's VR at the Whithall room and ceremony on the Whitehall patio. I was there and it was a spectacular event!

Jonette, I agree their vow renewal was beautiful. We are actually using their idea for the gazebo w/hanging colorful flower balls for our Mad Hatter Welcome Party which we are having at the Grand's St Augustine room since we have our reception at Whitehall. I do think the room will look beautiful with or without the tulle. For so much money, I really agree that your guests will not notice, especially with the tall arrangements, which we decided to do as well. Good LucK!

just can back from disney with the planner she said it is beautiful but nobody will miss it if you don't have it, I decided not to have it because it is so expensive

Whitehall is a very small room with a LOW ceiling,I personally would save the money for something else.

I absolutely LOVE the tulle look... Now I am thinking of using that myself But I agree if its in the Whitehall room I would save the money.. You cant enjoy the chandelier
