Just picked up the Canon SX280 HS to use as a point & shoot for our April visit to WDW. The wife already has a Nikon DSLR that we will be taking as well. Just wanted something for decent quality quick snapshots.
It was $219.99 at Best Buy, marked down from $279.99. When I looked to read reviews online, I saw that Best Buy.com had it for $189.99, so I got it for that price, and got a $15 Best Buy gift card with purchase. I was in Delaware when I purchased it so there was no sales tax. I did pay an extra $40 for an additional battery, 16gb memory card, and case. I had some BB gift cards squirreled away, so I only spent about $50 out of pocket.
It was highly rated on some 2013 Best Of lists for point & shoots, like CNET. Does anyone out there have any experience with this model? Was looking for some real world reviews, tips, or pros & cons- especially in regards to using it in WDW. Thanks.
Todd
