, I would say it is very nice. I took a few very nice macro shots with it. Enjoy!
Darn you all. You just kept it up long enough to push me over the edge. My wife's birthday present is now on the way, too - also from Beach Camera!
Pretty good price, though.![]()
Ok, so now I have a word of advice for all of you Canon sXIS owners. Even when life is hectic and things are coming at you fast, it is best to make sure that your camera is IN the car not ON the car before driving down the street. Bumbles bounce, cameras don't.
Surprisingly, it survived the fall at about 20mph (I made it quite a ways doen the road) I did see it bounce, and I figured I would open the case and find a bunch of broken plastic. The case I bought from Walmart seemed to cushion the blow quite a bit. I think it is ok, seems to work, but only time will tell when I use all of the features.
Perhaps if I cry, my DW will go buy me a 30D?

I was holding my camera bag about chest height, I'm 5'9" and flipped it sideways to get something out of it. Well I had never closed the clip for the section which my Sony H2 camera was in. The camera hit the concrete, I heard a large cracking noise, flash hit first.
I thought for sure it was going to be broken. It survived and still works, it just has some scratches on the flash cover. I figured the flash wouldn't pop up anymore or the lcd would be broken. But I lucked out this time.

Somehow my old Sony, the LCD broke, I never dropped it. I took a picture of my cat, the camera was fine. I put the camera in the case, set it on the table. Came back 5 minutes later, camera was in the same place, cat hadn't moved no one else was home and went to take another picture and then the LCD was broken. I paid to have the screen replaced, they then put the mode selection wheel on the camera back together wrong so I sent it back a second time to have it repaired. They did refund me some of what I paid to have it repaired since they messed up, but I probably would have been better off just getting a new camera.![]()
The pieces that went flying everywhere told me that it would be time to get a new camera. Although it was mainly just the automatic open/close lens cover that shattered and the rest of the camera was fine and still worked, it prompted me to buy the S2 IS anyways.
I like the neck strap much much better.I got the Lowepro Edit 110 for my wife's S3.Hmmmm..Very tempting...S3 looks very nice..Any recommendations on camera bags for it?
