Canon G series

Does anyone have a Canon G series camera?? I'm thinking of getting a Pwershot A640 but I've also started to check out the Canon Powershot G9. Anyone pros/cons?? Love it? Hate it???

Very nice camera(G9), but IMO way overpriced.

I used to be a big fan of the G series, but it seemed like Canon started to cripple them in order not to compete with sales of the Digital Rebels. The G9 does seem to be a very agressive comeback though.
