I have logged into my disney accoutn but cannot find anywhere to review or cancel ADR's, there used to be a option for My disney Vacation which I have used before but i cannot see it...any ideas?

Hi,
I have had the same problem! The 'my Disney Vacation' and reservations' are 'currently being updated', but it seems to be taking forever! You can get into the new 'reservations' site, but can only make ADRs, not cancel them. It says they are trying to make it easier, but then there is nowhere to 'click' to go there! (Sorry, not very technical!:))I have tried phoning a couple of times this week; but haven't been able to get through; and when I have, the system was down!!:confused3
I don't know if anyone else knows how long the update is going to take.....?
Sorry, not much help :)

It is really annoying. I wish I had known you were also having trouble Fuse04. Not that I could have helped you, but on Thursday I was wondering whether I was in an audition for the new Village Idiot! I could have used some reassurance that I wasn't alone. Couldn't find the links anywhere and I KNEW I had used them before.

Hi again :goodvibes

I only found out because I got my computer literate son to check for me!!

Hiya,
Looks like update is complete. If you log in, beside where it says 'Hello Jules' or your name, it now says 'reservations' If you click on there, you can retrieve and cancel. I've managed to cancel my double booking, and have checked my other ressies are ok Phew!!:goodvibes

You were obviously smart with your phone number. When I did the first 10 days of ressies I allowed the checkout to use my default number (as it is in my profile details on the site). Well it won't let me call them up no matter what. A phone call confirmed that there is no number in the system alongside those ADRs so I can't call them up online. I got savvy with the next batch and used the POFQ no. :)

Ooh! That's a pain! I used the OKW no, that seems to work, though the first ADR's I made last year were by phone, (just before the online system was introduced), and I gave my home no.
When I tried to retrieve them online when the system went 'live', no combination of my no worked! I tried leaving off the first 0, putting in hyphons, everything with no luck!!:goodvibes

I also tried every possible combo. Funny thing is my email confirmation shows the number but it doesn't work and never has. Even more strange, when I logged onto the site, my CP reservation popped up automatically but now can't access any of the others. Going to phone them now and see what is going on. I don't like the posts of late about ressies being "auto cancelled" :scared1:

How did it go? I know the idea of 'auto cancelling' is scary! I had no idea before you told me, but I spent ages on 'reservations' checking mine last night, and all seems OK :thumbsup2 Just need to ring and book our afternoon tea. Haven't had much luck the last couple of times I have tried.
Just a thought, and you have probably tried it, but when I first put our tel no in, I didn't use the hyphens' and it was chucked back at me!!

I don't like the sound of that either!! Why are they being cancelled? :confused3

ETA: I've been trying to access my ADRs all morning but I keep getting an error message- 'Sorry, we're down for maintenance! Please pardon the inconvenience as we work on our dining reservation system!'

Went fine. I only phoned after midnight but I went straight through with no wait. She had some trouble pulling them up but I am very sure it has something to do with my post code (different format to zip) and obviously the phone number. I told her I would giver her the ressie nos and once she pulled them up I would give her the venue, date and time if she was concerned about "security" of the info. She was quite happy with this and it was all confirmed in 5 minutes. :) I just had to know because I have never been able to see them.

Hope you got your afternoon tea - sounds so nice and summery!

They might have to pardon my response if it carried on too long ;) Seriously though, I must say they are showing signs of major improvements on their site and I am actually willing to endure the inevitable teething problems while they get it sorted as it does seem like it will be worth the wait.

The Auto Cancel story has popped up on the other boards. I actually think, going by most of the posts, that Disney is trying to stop the double bookings so they can have a choice of where to eat and cancel/no show at the last minute. It also seems like the system waits until shortly before the reservation and then cancels both the conflicting ones. There were others who said they had no idea why but TBH sometimes people don't check (or check out with their ADR's :rolleyes1) and all kinds of innocent and maybe some not so innocent factors that could come into play. Reports of this are random and I have no firsthand experience of it so what I said is purely based on info a read and its accuracy is obviously subject to the person/s providing it.

Nonetheless, I was not taking any chances!

Ah, ok. If this is what they're doing then I fully support it. It would be awful if someone missed out on a much-wanted ADR because of a double booking. I just hope that people don't do it by accident! :thumbsup2

Glad all went OK :)
I haven't tried to book our tea yet, will try later. I have only just got in from work, and as all my teens are on study leave, they have eaten me out of house and home, so I have to go shopping!!
We did the afternoon tea last year for DH's b'day, and it was so nice, he want's to do it again!

Hi there,

I have had nothing but problems with my online ADRs, but think I may have finally cracked it.
I had been typing in the US web address and had been looking for 'my disney vacation'.

I did try phoning the UK number who told me I needed to speak to the US dining reservations. I called them and they said I needed to speak to the UK web technicians. He didn't know how to do it, so he put me back through to the US dining reservations...who told me I needed to speak to the US web technicians. Over an hour and 4 disney reps later and no-one knew what the problem was.

In the end I scoured the UK home page and found a drop down box where you can change to the US site. I managed to find 'my disney vacation', pull up all my ADRs, email them to myself and print them. Hurrah!! :yay:
