my posting was about getting the free dining for the dates we are going. still are not having any luck. Just keep telling me we have black out dates. Emailed disney last week about this and this is what was posted in my email today.

there was no mention of any thing that i asked in the letter no reply to it either. no phone number either.everything in my account is up to date.

Sorry to hear you aren't getting any answers to your questions. I guess this is the email result of "form letters".

Wish you well!

eek... sorry about that. I can see how that would be irritating. Good luck!

You might have to call and talk to a live person to get an answer. They can't send you a stock reply.

If you go into the disneyparks.com site and click on "my vacation" or start planning a vacation a CM will come on to answer questions. I don't know if you can e-mail them from that point but I think you can. Maybe someone else will be able to answer that one.:surfweb:

mickeyfan619, I feel your pain. That is the only response I have ever gotten from Disney. Not that I email them all the time, but I have a few times, most recently about receiving (or rather, not receiving) pin offers. I guess disney is secure enough that they think they don't have to offer true customer service. I would think that in this economy, they would feel the need to be a bit more responsive.

I love it tho when I am on the Disney site and I am able to "chat" with a live person...Wow, this is a great help when trying to figure things out...

I actually e-mail disney about some simple information regarding RCI. I own a non-Disney Vacation club membership with RCI trading availablilty and wanted to know if the DVC was part of the RCI network. (Very simple question to answer) Of course they refused to give me ANY information and said I should call a DVC rep. Of course if I call they will try to talk me into a meeting them THEN try to sell me into the DVC. ........ Even with Disney ... time share companies and vacation club companies are all the same! Good grief! I'm a Disney nut or i wouldn't be here but all I needed was a YES or NO in regard to being part of RCI. A simple YES or NO. And they insist on me calling. ... Bummer

Actually you might be surprised. Disney DVC reps tend to be much less pushy than what you might be used to. In fact I called and talked with a rep on the phone when I wanted to learn more about DVC and after he talked with me he actually told me that DVC was NOT a good idea for our family. We also went to a presentation on the Disney Cruise and they haven't followed up with us at all--ie no harassing phone calls, constant letters etc...

But you can probably also just ask your question on our DVC boards here on the DIS. Those people know their stuff inside and out.

If I were you I would call and get a live person. I've found they are more receptive that way.
