My DH and I were casually talking about a trip for next years anniversary in August......now he says he wants to go THIS August too! Just me and him....NO KIDS! We've never been away from our kids EVER! (DS 12, DD 8)
Is he not the best? He's talking to his supervisor about his vacation time to swing it but thinks it won't be a problem to go for 4 days. And it wouldn't cost as much cause we won't need park hopper tickets, just base ones! I'm so excited!! I hope he tells me soon so I can book it!!

We did the same thing last Aug. for our 10th anniversary. We had the best time! We left our 3 DD's home with my parents. The girls were fine with us going w/out them, because we take them enough. They were excited for us! It was so great eating at some nicer places, relaxing in the hot tub, doing the rides together without having to split up with the kids. It is a different way to experience Disney, but just as great. We stayed at WL, which was just perfect. Happy planning!

Called Disney today and it's all booked and paid for....all star music from August 11-16....no pin or code with my name when I called (bummer) but we're going!!!!!

I imagine it will be BUSY but it will just be us so maybe won't seem as bad.....
