I got my package yesterday from Ryan (momof2OHs DD) and all I can say is WOW. It was full of all kinds of great candy including my favorite plain ole sweat tarts. Thank you Thank you Thank you

When I came home a big 'ole box from the USPS was waiting for me.

Uh Oh it looks like it was opened and reclosed.

No note inside, but the return address for Lynn of PA makes me guess it is from that super nicer DISer gr8tpanther!

I got a BIG 3 pound box of assorted chocolates (already half gone this morning <grin>!

A nice tub of WHITE CHOCHOLATE covered pretzels

One roll of PEZ candies, and here is why I think the box may have been opened...

One piece of ABC Gum (Juicy Fruit I think!) and I empty PEZ wrapper!

Anyway, mucho thankos to gr8tpanther for all of the goodies!

Came home from work to a nice surprise today...I had a package full of all kinds of candies. My DD and her friend had a great time sorting through it after school. Thanks Gina, we'll enjoy it all.

ok...long but funny story to share.....


Afterschool today as DD and I were backing out of driveway to get DS from preschool, UPS truck pulls up to house. I wait to see what he gets from his truck thinking I ordered new sheets last week and this must be that. Well, UPS guy appears from his truck with 2 boxes (one on top of other), so I put the car in park and get out to retrieve boxes. The top box that I can see has come from the Girl Scouts. (Silly me volunteered to be the townwide QSP/Nut sale chair don't ask what I was thinking when I said I would do this.) Anyway, seeing that the one box is Girl Scouts, I just assume that they both are. Fast forward to half hour ago....We are all home now, DD asked what came from Girl Scouts, I tell her QSP/Nut sale stuff. As I open both boxes I reach my hand into the larger box to find styrofoam peanuts and pull out a box of cherry cordials. Hmm, I say. I start to think 'Do I really have to share this with a troop?' As I reach my hand in some more, I pull out Tootsie rolls, mint patties, and a bag of christmas mixed candies. Now I'm thinking...'This is really odd, none of this stuff seems to be Girl Scout related, what is going on?' Next I pull out a huge 3 lb.box of assorted chocolates, another box of cherry cordials, a bar of Almond bark, another box of assorted chocolates, and finally a big box of chocolate classics (more cherry cordials-YUM) with a note attached. It's not until I get to the end of the note and see that it's signed by greenban do I realize this is the candy exchange. All I can say is WOW That is alot of candy!!! Thank you SOOO much. All three kids are now hovering over candy and asking if they can have some. ('Everyone back away from Mommy's Cherry Cordials...those are mine!!')

Yes, your candy is from me, sorry no note, I barely had time to get it out with my work schedule.

I didn't open and reclose, so someone else must have done that in it's journey?

Thank you so much for all the goodies. I have a lot of coworkers that like to sneak candy so I made sure to sneak out my favorites like the HUGE lollipop, Mike & Ikes, gobsters and the new Laffy Taffy (can't wait for this one!)

I think it came to work on Monday but I was out of the office due to my son being sick but what an awesome surprise waiting for my return.

On a side note, all of my items have been purchased and will go out in the mail during my lunch hour tomorrow. Sorry, it had to come to the last day out.
