Candy Coated Grits

Cook grits with sweetened milk flavored with vanilla. Let grits cool and stiffen. Then roll into balls and dip in melted good-quality chocolate.

Do you suppose someone actually sat down and tried to think of a way to serve grits for desert and came up with this...........

i love grits....we make them with flavoring though.
like bouillion (chicken is my fave) or bacon or sausage grease.
