Where would I find a list of dates that the handmade candy canes will be available to purchase for those who get a wrist band?

I think I know which candy canes you are referring to from a holiday special I saw~ but you have to have a wristband to get them? I'm clueless, please fill me in :goodvibes

These candy canes are handmade in the parks. Typically they are available in each park twice a week. Since it's a painstaking process, there are very few made each day. Wristbands are distributed at the candy store where they are being made that day (or at a different location per Disney). Canes can only be purchased with a wristband.

People line up VERY early for this.

Not so sure as to how many are actually made fresh in the park. because last December at around midnight, there was a big truck with the name Abdul on the side, pull up to DLR, where upon arriving several cast members scurried about to assist unloading the goods in the back of the truck, what I saw was box after box after box of candy canes. So, I asked the driver about it, and he said that his cousins make a lot of these candy canes in their kitchen.
selling to Disney, for a rather low price, but then Disney greatly over inflates the cost to the consumer, but will happily pay it because it's Disney.

Enjoy

Fascinating! The truck just pulled up to the back door of the park?! :rotfl:

I think the point is that the ones that are made homemade in the candy stores before guests' eyes are very limited (three batches of 40 each day they're made), so the early bird gets the worm.

I got one last year after my cousin and I raced to the Trolley Treats shop right when DCA opened and getting a wristband and returning an hour later for it. It was pretty crazy but fun! :) I tried to have mine sent to my room at The Grand but it's the only item they won't send over so be aware you'll have to carry a large candy cane around all day. We actually got a locker because it was a warm day and left them in there.

They have postcards at almost any candy shop in DLR or DCA that say what day and which park the cc's are available so ask for one because they're a fun keepsake.

Don't be too scared about the line up comment, though. I went the first Mon &Tues of December last year. The day I was in DCA, I had totally forgotten about the candy canes until I walked by Trolley Treats and saw CM's standing outside with wristbands. It was shortly after rope drop and they were just hanging out waiting for people to come to them. So, while I wouldn't be too casual about it if you really want them (I am sure there is a line quite often), I wouldn't panic either.
