Candy Canes or Carousels...

The Candy Cane is the most popular, with a nice continental breakfast. Only 4 people are allowed in a room. They do have their own shuttle.

Carousel Inn is right across the street, has a rooftop pool, and also offers continental breakfast. I think they allow 5 in a room.

The Candy Cane has always been our favorite. Love the Duvet's on the bed, and they have a nice continental breakfast by the pool.

Definitely the Candy Cane Inn! Reasonably priced, clean rooms, free continental breakfast and within walking distance to the parks. Also, they have their own shuttle so you don't have to walk or worry about the shuttle being full when you do want a ride at the end of a tiring day. It's a very quiet and serene place...we are never disappointed when we stay there.

Of the two, I have stayed only at the Carousel. It was an entirely positive experience (this past Oct., by the way). Our room was clean and comfortable, the continental breakfast had surprisingly good variety, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. All that combined with a great price and being literally right across the street from Disneyland made it a very happy choice for us. We'll be staying there again this coming October.
