Candy Canes and Candlelight?

Hey Everyone...I am heading to Disneyland with a BIG family group on Dec. 2-6...I was wondering if anyone knows if and when the handmade candycanes will be available at Main St. Candy store...

Also wondering if anyone has any info on the candlelight processional for this year. Did anyone do it last year? How do you go about making reservations online? Is it on the official site? Do I just keep checking and wait for a link?

We will be there Dec. 7-12 and are trying to hit the Candlelight Processional on Sun. afternoon. (5:30 I think) I am not willing to buy tickets for dinner and such because I don't want to pay an extra $300 or so for a family of 5. We are just planning to see as much of it as we can from as close as we can on Main Street.

Sorry, don't know about the candy canes, except I think they only make them on certain days and they sell out fairly quickly.

Processional is Dec. 6 and 7 this year, usually with shows at 2 different times a day - like 5:30 and 8:30 or around those times.

As far as I know they haven't posted tickets for purchase yet and they are offered to AP holders first.

Since the official start of the holiday season is Nov. 21st I wouldn't be surprised if the candy canes start being available at that time. I'll be going to DL a few times this week so if I get a chance, I'll see if they can tell me at the candy store.

If you call 714-781-0112 you can get a list of what is being made for the week (Sunday thru Saturday).

We will be there Dec. 2-7. Last year that week they did candy canes one day we were there and there was such a line we didn't get any, but I too would love to know when they are making them as I would love to get a few.

An honest candy cane question....
Do the DL Main Street candy canes taste better than those sold at Target? Do they have a better texture or something? Or is it just fun to get a freshly made one at DL? Please don't think I am knocking anyone's interest in getting one. If I see them being made on my upcoming trip, and am able to wait in a not-too-long line to get my hands on one....I would be excited. Partly because I have heard how hard they are to come by, and now I am curious. I guess I'm just wondering if they taste unique.....

Yes that is for the candy store, when I called today to test it they had the schedule through this coming Saturday which gives you an idea of the timeframe.
