Candy Cane or Tropicana

Hey everyone.

So we are going to the MHP on the 31st. So excited! My five year old is counting down the days.

When booking hotels, I was trying to take into account that this would be our first time without a stroller, whatever weather was going to happen, and walking distance. We have stayed at the Best Western Stovalls Inn, but have had issues thefts couple of times. Walking from there never bother us.

So I have two reservations, Tropicana and Candy Cane. Price is within a few dollars. So no help there. Hubby and sis are saying its up to me. LOL Any thoughts between the two?

While I prefer Candy Cane Inn, I would go for Tropicana due to location and the fact you will have no stroller. Staying across the street is a life saver when you have tired little ones that do not use a stroller. Candy Cane Inn odes have a dedicated shuttle, but you may have to wait for that depending on how busy it is.

I have stayed at Tropicana 3 times now and it is perfectly fine. I've never had any problems there. The location is fantastic! I have never stayed at Candy Cane, but the rooms look pretty there. Have fun!

My BIL and his DD have stayed at the CCI a few times and really like it but it is a little further walk than some of the hotels across the street from the parks.

Tropicana is a nice close location.
If you have experienced theft in the past at other locations, you might go with one that has a safe.

I like to have the option to secure items in a safe.

we like the tropicana all ways so practical being that close to the park
