Hello,

Planning a trip for July with another family of 4 (kids are 5,6,9,12). Been to Disneyland twice but both times stayed onsite at PP. Thought we'd save a little extra money this time and stay offsite. I'm having a really hard time deciding where to stay. Candy Cane Inn and HoJo's seem to be mentioned alot. We definately have to be within walking distance and room must be very CLEAN! Any suggestions or thoughts?:)

I like Fairfield Inn. We had very clean room when we stayed there last June. We've also stayed many times at Hojos. You can see my reviews for both in my signature below. FFI is easy walking distance and has room service from Millies, a Pizza Hut Express and Seattle's Best onsite, is right next door to Mcdonald's and Mimi's Cafe, and has free Wireless internet. There is a pullout twin sized bed in each Queen room and a full size in the King rooms. Our tub was so clean you could have eaten off of it. There is no microwave at FFI, however, Hojos also only has microwaves in their premium and deluxe rooms and suites. We have had excellent service at Hojos and Fairfield Inn. Can't comment on CCI because I've never stayed there as I am partial to the restaurants on the other side of Harbor where FFI and Hojos is.

After hours of research, we went with HOJO's. We would have gone with FFI (a little closer, and the pull-out sofa would have been nice) but their parking situation makes me nervous, especially since we seem to be going during a busy time. I don't want to have to worry about parking, and we will be using the car to go shopping and eating so we'll be coming and going a few times.

HOJO's has free, ample parking. And I like indoor corridors. And their pool area can't be beat.

CCI was too high priced during our week.
