Hi everyone 
As I have shared before I am a big fan of the CCI! I love everything about it really except sometimes the higher price! Last week when I was at DL for a day trip I paid more attention to the hotels at the crosswalk and saw besides Park Vue that BWPPI is right there. I do need walking breaks and to not overdo, so the CCI shuttle has always been an extra selling feature for me there. That said when I did stay there last Dec, I realized their bus pick up and drop off is the furthest away from bag check and that the crosswalk across the street is not very far at all from that. I used the bus that way to get to McD's and Denny's last time and save on walking. What I'm saying is that if there is a comparable hotel to CCI (that is also, of course cheaper)! I would definitely consider trying it out.
Other CCI+'s for me is always how very friendly all their hotel staff is, the bus is also always on time. I am a fan of soft mattresses and think their beds are awesome. Their shower was lovely last time, too and the room was spotless. I think the only other thing for me that really counts is that a hotel be completely non smoking.
I am way in advance looking at rates for first weekend in December, assuming that will be the only time the Candlelight Processional will be performed. I noticed the CCI is more expensive on Thurs-Sunday checkout than BWPPI. I was also looking in staying one night, hopefully with a friend, the day before my May birthday so I'd be able to be at DL already on my actual bday which I have wanted to do for a long time. Monday May 11th at BWPPI last week was I think $125 but yesterday that day was not even available. CCI I think is same as it is in Dec $158.
I would appreciate some BWPPI thoughts, thank you!
